Each February, the American Dental Association (ADA) sponsors National Children’s Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health.
Inquisitive Quincie was created with the goal to promote good dental health care and regular visits to the dentist while making it a fun experience of reading and coloring for the kids.
Give Kids a Smile is an excellent program created by the American Dental Association that takes care of children’s good oral health nationwide and it really inspired us with this first publication.
At Inquisitive Quincie, we may be one of many children books that talks about good oral health, but we want to make a difference by giving other kids with limited resources or no resources the same experience. We are working with For World Wide Smiles to bring Quincie to remote areas around the globe, and 2014 is our pilot year.
We are not sure about you but we are very fond of books and if they can be personalized, they are 10x much better! Inquisitive Quincie has now a Kindle version in full colors to display one of the many things you could do with some artistic talent. The Kindle version is available in English and in Spanish and it’s a companion to the coloring versions also available in both languages.
For those who doesn’t know her yet, Quincie is inquisitive because she loves to learn, she is not afraid because she likes to try, and she feels proud of her healthy smile, that’s the reason she takes good care of her teeth at home.
I hope you join us in spreading good oral health around your community so we can bring this project abroad. And feel free to let us know your thoughts in the comment section below. And if you want to receive more updates about this project, please subscribe to our mailing list.
